Baltic Amadeus, UAB Receives EU Grant amounting to LTL 2 993 060 for Creation of the Integration System of the Virtual Branch.

Baltic Amadeus, UAB successfully operating in the Lithuanian information technology (IT) market for as long as 21 years has received funding amounting to LTL 2 993 060 for the project “Creation of the integration system of the virtual branch” under Operational Programme 2007-2013: Economic Growth, 1st Priority “Research and development (R&D) for competitiveness and growth of the economy”, Implementation Measure “Intellect LT”. The total sum of investment into creation of the integration system of the virtual branch will amount to LTL 6.55 millions.
Continuously offering new quality innovative solutions to the market Baltic Amadeus, UAB has initiated and in collaboration with Medicinos Bankas, UAB has launched implementation of the aforementioned project, the objective of which is creation of an innovative product, the Virtual Branch, based on the knowledge acquired during the research. It is expected that the developed product will ensure a smoother demand implementation of both the companies rendering financial/banking serves and their clients.
“We believe that this new IT solution, Integration System of the Virtual Branch, will be attractive to both service providers and consumers, because alongside the traditional banking services and functions the unified tools necessary for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) will be integrated,” said Viktoras Tonkich, the President of Baltic Amadeus. According to him, this system will allow SMB companies to effectively manage processes, while diminishing operational costs, to optimise process management, to implement quality systems, as well as to easily manage related information, to plan resources, to maintain communication with the current and future clients, to simplify contract related work, to more effectively manage personnel by defining their competence limits, and to ensure technological advancement and high level of protection.
The project for creation of the integrated system of the virtual branch was launched in August of 2009, and it is expected to be completed before February of 2012.
